May 2, 2016 – On April 5, 30 members of the SS&TP/C3 Community Advisory Council convened at TLHS for its annual meeting. Council members heard about past and future activities, and provided input for Park and C3 initiatives.
May 2, 2016 – MCAD Technologies recently hosted the Company Leadership Luncheon for companies and organizations in the SS&TP. Park leaders were able to network, announce updates, and learn about MCAD and their 3D printing.
May 2, 2016 – Sandia National Laboratories recently hosted Brian Crone, a Congressional Fellow from U.S. Representative Ben Ray Luján’s Washington, DC office.
May 2, 2016 – At a recent press conference, U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich, D-NM, announced a $10 million contract award that includes $4.8 million for Raytheon Albuquerque to refurbish two Counter-Electronics High-Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP) missiles.
May 2, 2016 – Two Entrepreneur Exploration Roundtables were recently held at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.
Apr 1, 2016 – Sandia National Laboratories hosted a Roundtable entitled “Women Catalyzing Innovation in New Mexico: Growing Our Economic Footprint.” The four panelists were U.S. Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham, DOE Deputy Secretary Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, NNSA Principal Deputy Administrator Madelyn Creedon, and Sandia President and Labs Director Jill Hruby. They were joined by 20 women – business and community leaders – who engaged in a stimulating conversation focused on changing the dynamics in New Mexico regarding innovation, technology transfer, and economic development.
