C3 recently hosted “Innovations in Advanced Manufacturing” at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.  This networking event was an opportunity for local entrepreneurs, community and business leaders, and investors to learn about 3D printing and view the 3D Printed Shelby Cobra car from the Department of Energy’s first Manufacturing Demonstration Facility established at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.  MCAD Technologies, located in the SS&TP, along with other New Mexico companies, 3D Proven System and Sigma Labs, displayed their 3D printed products and gave demonstrations. Information booths for the New Mexico Small Business Assistance, Entrepreneurial Separation to Transfer Technology, and Small Business Vouchers Pilot were present.
