News ItemCyber Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) Open House

Mar 7, 2013 –

CERL held an Open House on February 19 in the Sandia Science & Technology Park (SS&TP). The event provided an overview of the Cyber Engineering Research Institute (CERI) and highlighted cyber security research activities at CERL. Many federal, state, and local officials, community business leaders, and Sandia representatives attended and spoke at the event.

CERI is a virtual organization spanning Sandia National Laboratories’ two main sites. CERI includes two facilities: CERL in the SS&TP in New Mexico, and the Cyber Technology Research Laboratory (CTRL) in the Livermore Valley Open Campus in California. CERL was established outside of Sandia’s gates to build a cyber research community and facilitate hosting of academic, industry, and government collaborators. The facility houses a human performance lab, innovation lab, and a research center.
