The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will host Mole Day, a day for families to learn more about chemistry and nano science, Saturday, October 20. Activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Celebrated annually, Mole Day commemorates Avogadro’s Number (6.02 x 10^23), which is a basic measuring unit in chemistry. Discover sand that is scared of water, how elements show their “true colors” and have fingerprints, and much more! Children are free with a paid adult.
