February 3, 2012 –

The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will host an opening reception (Public Event) for their newest temporary exhibition – “Tech City” that will take place on Friday, February 3, 2012, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. The public exhibition is open February 4 through April 26.

Housed in the Museum’s 1,400 square foot temporary exhibition hall, Tech City includes fun, interactive stations where visitors solve the kind of real-world problems that engineers face. Tech City offers an approach to engineering that includes opportunities for designing, building, testing, and modifying. Designed for 8-13 year olds and their families, visitors will learn about the engineering process of designing, building, testing, and modifying.

This exhibition is made possible by the generous underwriting support of Raytheon Ktech, PNM, and Lockheed Martin/Sandia National Laboratories.
