“Science on Tap” is a series of informal talks on a wide range of topics in science and technology. The talks will take place the first Thursday of each month 5:30 pm at Cosmo Tapas Restaurant, 4200 Central Ave. SE. The program is an opportunity for anyone to explore the latest ideas in science and technology in a relaxed, informal environment.

The first speaker on August 2 is Amber McBride, a PhD candidate at the University of New Mexico. Her topic is inhalable nanoscale treatments for lung cancer. The talks are co-sponsored by the UNM Nanoscience and Microsystems (NSMS) and the Chemical and Nuclear Engineering (ChNE) departments, Cosmos Tapas in Nob Hill, and the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History.
