News ItemRaytheon Expands in the Park

Nov 1, 2017 –

Raytheon Company recently had a grand opening celebration for its new engineering facility. The company currently occupies a 103,000-sq.-ft. facility in the Sandia Science & Technology Park (SS&TP). They just leased an additional 72,000-sq.-ft. of space in the Park, an entire building formerly occupied by Air Products. Raytheon will be moving their Mobile Range® employees from its current location, as well as adding new employees. The Mobile Range integrated suite of communications, optics, and telemetry capabilities can be deployed anywhere in the world – on land, at sea or in the air – with minimal support staff or infrastructure. This technology enables in-country flight testing, demonstrations, and data collection in a variety of environments and conditions. Raytheon’s Albuquerque workforce is expected to grow from 180 to 200 people by the end of the year.
