News ItemSandia’s Entrepreneur Exploration Program

Sep 1, 2017 –

Sandia’s Entrepreneur Exploration Program, in partnership with ABQid, recently held two workshops for Sandians. The workshops are part of a program called Lab-Bridge, a DOE/EERE initiative designed to train researchers and scientists in lean startup methodology to help them take their ideas out of the labs and into the marketplace. At the workshops, nine Sandians were paired with mentors who provided advice and guidance as each participant developed a pitch of their best innovation to present on September 14th to a panel of judges and members of the NM entrepreneurial community. The winner will join colleagues
from 11 other national labs at a competition in November for the chance to win $50,000 and inclusion in the DOE Energy I-Corps Program.
