Raytheon Ktech Expansion – The company broke ground in March on a 1500 sq.ft. addition to its Eubank facility. The addition is high-bay laboratory space to support demands for new work. The addition will be completed at the end of May with move-in plans for June. Raytheon Ktech has been in the SS&TP since 2001 and is a leader in directed energy systems, pulsed power systems engineering, and telemetry solutions; SS&TP Company Leadership Luncheon – Applied Technology Associates (ATA) hosted the most recent quarterly luncheon. It was an informal gathering for Park leaders to hear an overview of ATA, ATA Aerospace’s involvement with the Red Bull Stratos mission, and tour ATA’s facility in the SS&TP. The event also provided an opportunity to network and announce current news in the Park; The QC Group – The company has been working with Sandia for 10 years as a service provider for quality-related services including dimensional inspection measurements, reverse engineering with scanning, 3D CAD modeling, and more. Focused on a rapid response with dependable results, QC’s vision of “story worthy” service is evidenced by the multiple awards they have received from Sandia over the last several years. The QC Group was given a 2012 Gold (Oro) award for over 95% on-time delivery.
