New Company Joins the Park – Liquid Common has recently moved into the SS&TP and will be housed in the TEAM Technologies facilities. Liquid Common is a nationwide, digital marketing company, offering customized social, web, and mobile marketing solutions for enterprises of all sizes. The company selected the SS&TP for its headquarters due to the proximity to Sandia National Laboratories, Kirtland Air Force Base, and other companies in the high-tech community; AEgis Technologies Group – The company recently hosted an open house to celebrate 25 years of service. The anniversary was aimed at celebrating its customers’ success and its commitment to making a difference. AEgis Technologies provides world-class modeling and simulation, training, test support, system engineering and analysis, hardware design, and advanced technologies development to government and commercial customers. AEgis’ Advanced Technologies group maintains a laser laboratory in the SS&TP. The AEgis Directed Energy team just won the 2014 ITEA Technical Achievement Award for its outstanding achievements as a specialized and responsive test instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis team; New Leadership at Raytheon – Steve Bennett has been appointed President of Raytheon’s Operations in Albuquerque. Located at the SS&TP, Raytheon’s Albuquerque office occupies approximately 103,000 square feet of office, light lab, and manufacturing facilities. It provides manufacturing expertise and engineering services worldwide. Albuquerque’s former president, Steve Downie, will assume responsibility for Department of Energy Strategy and Capture; Roundtable for SS&TP Companies – The SS&TP Program office, in partnership with Sandia National Laboratories’ licensing and procurement teams, recently hosted a roundtable discussion with Park companies at the Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union (SLFCU). The meeting was an exclusive opportunity for companies in the Park to engage directly with Sandia leadership and stay up-to-date regarding current opportunities for doing business with Sandia.
