CINT is a Department of Energy-funded nanoscience research facility providing users from around the world with access to world-class expertise and state of-the-art instrumentation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with a focus on nanoscience integration. Together, CINT users and staff establish scientific principles that govern the design, predict the performance, and enable the integration of nanostructured materials into the micro and macro worlds. CINT has two main facilities, the CORE facility located at the Sandia Science & Technology Park in Albuquerque and Gateway facility in Los Alamos. In alignment with national nanoscale research priorities, work at CINT emphasizes research in the fields of Microelectronics, Clean Energy, Quantum Information Science, Biosecurity, AI/Machine Learning, Advanced/Sustainable Manufacturing.

CINT is affiliated with Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
